Dramatised visit set in the time when French troops arrived in Vilanova i la Geltrú, at the beggining of the 19th century
Some surprises are in store during this visit! Visitors, accompanied by Mr Benet Rubinat (Francesc de Papiol’s nephew) and some of his servants, will be taken on a tour of a house belonging to one of the leading families in Vilanova i la Geltrú in the nineteenth century. Spectators will be able to appreciate the effects of the presence of the French in the town, the religious practices of the house’s occupants and the everyday life taking place behind its walls. At the end of the event a glass of cava will be served to visitors in the Museum garden.
